Background

My name is Jeffery Merrell.  I grew up in Eastern North Carolina and have lived here the majority of my life. I attended East Carolina University and graduated with a degree in Biology in 2004.  Since then I've had several fisheries technician positions and currently work for NC State University doing marine research. 

Leading up to October 2017, in Joey Feldman's Facebook group, I learned about "The Inktober Initiative" which was started in 2009  by Jake Parker.  I decided I would participate and I did not regret it!  I thoroughly enjoyed drawing and sharing my drawings with the other members of Joey's group.  In the end, I did not want to stop drawing and do not plan to.  To commemorate my first Inktober, I decided I would have some screen prints made of one of my favorite drawings from the month.
